I just got another idea, this is really cool, I have to wonder if it's legal, if a side car is ok I don't see why my idea wouldn't be, If I took my trailer and removed the top lid and fastened a windshield up top and a car seat to the floor and padded the dash really well a person could ride back there, is that crazy or what... Stereo hook up mirrors, what's the difference in a sidecar, has anyone done such a insane idea.. Is it legal to put a person in a trailer...why not.. Maybe a whole family... :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: Ok it's offical , I'm crazy..  You guy's should see my big ass try to turn around inside that tent,,, Funny... :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:

Yes. You'd think the reason would be obvious.

Heeeeeerz yer sign. :ahem:

I'd call it the lil-beav and market it to the classic bike lovers...
its a great trailer Bro.
I'm a bit more heavyweight. I'd want to make a few slight mods but it looks great to me.
marine grade plywood and good paint would make it almost indestructible.
cool thing is during the day it would make a great table/cook-top/whatever. and at night "pop" the tent up and your out.
might even be interested in this design without the tent on top...
a bigger air mattress and a bigger tent setup on the ground would be more practical for me.
looks like the trailer could accommodate all that plus clothes and maybe room for my camp stove and fishing poles :D

did you build the trailer too?
if so could you give us the design?

again awsome job bro.

I am going to ask this here since I am not sure where it should really go..General forum? That seems mostly full of conversation and jokes, etc.

I wonder if a camping section would be good?

Not asking whether you camp or not but if you do, have you tried the Kamp-Rite tent cots?
I am interested and may try one out...they now seem to have one that can be either a tent cot or on-the-ground-tent that looks interesting. I am thinking this may be a good addition to my sidecar rig....The big problem for me is there isn't any for sale in my state that I know of...I went on a mission through Albuquerque looking and Las Cruces and El Paso are out of the question...there is very little interest in camping from the general Hispanic community.

Hey camping folks, I got a different tent from Cabela's today, cost a little more but it's More Better That Kind..Here are photo's, you can step into it using the fender and the weight in centered better. And I can turn around in it easier..I love it..View attachment 2View attachment 1 this tent is designed for a cot.. I found it to be the perfect fit for my trailer..I'm a happy camper.. :Egyptian:

Bacon is my favorite, three eggs over medium, toast, grits, orange juice and coffee, or breakfast taco's my favorite... I like taco's :smilie_happy: .. Yes, I will have my kitchenet mounted on the side of the trailer [coleman stove], small ice chest, oh hey I plan on a AC mounted on the opposite side of the opening, yes, that flap comes down, all I'd need is a small platform to set my unit [AC] on.. :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: , I'm getting a 4" high density foam bed like made for pop ups.. it's easier than pumping air.. Plus you sleep better.. I all ready have a 5000 btu air unit we used last summer in our tent..Right now I need to get a new rear master cylinder kit, because mine is worn out and leaking fluid...Booo.. I will also have a canope pulled over the top of it in case of Tornado's, my canopes stop Tornado's don't ya know... :clapping: :clapping: :Egyptian: Oh, did I tell ya .... I love camping, even if it's in my back yard because now I can't afford to buy gas.. :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: Oh, wife says I don't have a small unit.. :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:

Okay. That's pretty funny. Made me laugh :smilie_happy: Good idea on his trailer for sure. Beats sleeping on the ground in a sleeping bag.
