I don't think it's worth posting crap like this as it tends to pull peoples attention into their problems rather than looking outward to do something about it. We all know times are tough, no need to cram it down our throats.

We both grew up in a time when school kids were taught to listen for the Nuclear attack siren and hide under the desks. If that taught us anything it should have taught us to be aware that opinions were simply that, opinions!!

The fact that the American economy is in trouble has a direct bearing on us up here because we are only a step behind, WE ALAREADY HAVE $5.00 GAS. the unfortunate reality is the whole country *(theirs and ours)* can not work in the service industry SOMEONE has to make things and the only way that is going to happen is TARRIFFS. Free trade is not fair trade! Tarrifs need to be applied as required to all countries in an effort to equalize the costs of goods and services onshore and offshore. Thank goodness the American Economy is so healthy and so large that it can withstand a few years of free trade, because the alternative is playing out in Greece right now!
