rear tire,, again,,

rode hundred miles one way for sum (gubmnt) paperwork,, all good,,, comin bac ,, not so good.. plugged a dunlap tire,,(looks to be a brand new one) 6 times in the same spot,, even put two plugs in one time.. so should i put a boot in this tire or get a new tire.. its a tubeless tire on 83 aspn,, . looks like almost a half inch crack,, on a diagnol.. sure doesn't seem to like tire plugs. ya,, drive tire,, thanx

I wouldn't risk it and replace the tire.

Yep replace it and try a new brand like I am, got some Birdgestones on the way right now. My D404's didn't last very long.

read on a web page that sells tire's,,, D404's,,, not for big harley's,,, guess they don't work so well on wing's either... bummer .. not sure why ,, 4 ply ,, 2 ply sidewall... lasted about a hundred miles for me!
