Replacing Well-worn Vetters Bags and Trunk

Hello to all. I hope to mount '82 Aspencade trunk and bags on my '79. Outside of special wiring, are there frame differences/fitment issues I should be aware of?

I kinda figured plug and play would be a lot to ask for. I have all the mounting hardware, it's just whether it will bolt to the 79

wheel base is shorter on 1000 so there will be some misalignment

Actually nothing lines up, but it can be done. I made custom extensions to make holes where I needed them.

Making adapter brackets by cutting, bending, and drilling is.
