the speedometer has stopped working on my 84 aspy. cleaned it worked for a while then stopped again. my question is can you still buy this part. or can this one be repaired.everything else works but the speedo. thnx steve84

I just looked this part up and it is electronic and NLA. Learning how to use a good parts fiche is going to come in handy, I use either Service Honda or https://www.motogrid.com/
Are you getting any of the indicators to light up on the Speedo but the numbers don't count? Or is it a blank no display screen? ... if it is not moving, but lit... then check the double eared drive gear in the wheel.. they can rot our... mine did one my 1100 and I understand the drive v gear is the same for the 12's also... not lit is electrical... verify connections... fuses.... Check the wiring diagram for your model... to verify wiring path....
