I have a gen3 spot tracker for my Alaskan trip.

Can anyone tell me how to get the crumb track sent to the forum?

If so please be specific.

I am not very smart when it comes to these things but I really want to be followed by members here.

Thank you for any help.

found this on the web site, and i sort of get it...... :read:

Tracking: Allow friends and family to follow your progress online in near real-time and save waypoints so you can review your entire route at a later date.

HOW IT WORKS:
Once you activate the tracking mode, SPOT acquires and sends your GPS coordinates to your SPOT account and, if you choose, Shared Pages. Creating a SPOT Shared Page allows you to share your GPS route with your friends and family easily in near real-time on the web through a personal link. You can make your Shared Page private or public. Your choice! Just share that URL with your friends and family and they can easily track your adventures. Upload your tracks to SPOT Adventures, a social portal, where you can set up a profile and blog with others sharing their SPOT Adventures.

There instructions are much to be desired.
I have figured out how to get e-mails out with the tracks (bread crumbs) on a map. But I have not figured out how to get the maps on to the forum.

I read up some but haven't read anywhere where it can post to the forum.
From what I gather, you can share a link to a site that is tracking you. From there we would follow you.

I'll read up some more on it.
