After reading about the benefits of upgrading to braided stainless brake lines, I finally got off my lazy butt and put the ones on I'd bought some months ago.
The hardest part of the job was taking the fairing and saddlebags off so I could get at everything.
The lines have a smaller OD than Mother Honda's, so the holders are a bit large. I just used small black zip ties to hold the speedo cable next to the left front brake line.

The back was not difficult. I just have to make sure the new hose doesn't rub the tire.

Yikes! The date code on the original ones I removed says 7/82

One more thing checked off my self imposed 'honey do' list........

Dan - the bike is still on the stand with more projects yet to be done, so no feedback for a while. I was going to tear the front and rear suspension out and do the Progressive spring upgrade, but with every passing day that is ride-able, I'm less inclined to keep tearing into it! LOL
I have the wiring ready to add a modern fuse in place of the 'dog bone' and I have CBR coils in hand as well.
I'd like to say I'm going to do the HID headlight upgrade (after seeing your most excellent tutorial), but I'm stalling...

Looking at the CBR coil upgrade, I see I have to remove a lot of crap just to get at the coil packs... wah.....

All you have to remove is the faux tank and the coils are right there.
Also don't hesitate to do the HIDS, you won't regret it.
