Stuck caliper pistons

After trying to push the piston out with air and grabbing it with channelocks,i soaked the caliper in evaporust for a few hours,no luck.any other suggestions?thanks

hook a grease gun to the open bleeder and pump the handle piston will come out and it wont be dangerous ....

If that doesn't do it, I would say it is truly STUCK!

Some have used internal pipe wrenches for really stuck pistons.

I have always been able to pop out the pistons using the brake handle. Remove the caliper, keep one pad in there and pump away! (Oh, and keep checking the fluid level). :yes:

ive never seen it fail yet ,,,,a grease gun is mega force to brake piston and not hard to clean up

I'll vote for Joe's method since the hand operated grease gun can produce pressures as high as 5000 (yes, 5000) psi. If that doesn't move the piston, nothing will!

Never needed the grease gun, :nea: the master always pumped them out. :yes:
