Same flooded driveway, thunder that shook the walls of our apartment several times, power outage, a strike so close to the kitchen window that Janet shrieked (which struck some kind of generator two buildings over) Fire trucks on the scene, cats and dogs getting along... Then gone as quick as it arrived.

LOL yes, I had just put Crystal's half cover on because I afraid she'd get "sprinkled" on, 33K still without power this morning. I lived in East texas for a while and this storm while short rivaled the ones in Texas. The phone video does not do justice to the power of the lightning and thunder.

Quit a storm..I`m familiar with the southern storms so I can imagine..Must be common for Las Vegas and desert area , I`m always hearing of flash floods out there.
Keep`s the streets clean and cars washed

As a kid growing up in So Cal we had lots of thunderstorms every year.
In the last 20 years we've had maybe 2.
I miss them.

Reminds me of one time we were driving through Nevada and had a fierce lightning storm develop over the highway less than a mile ahead of us. Wow was that a sight to see. It was small and isolated with clear sky's all around it.
Everyone drove through it and so did we but it sure made me nervous!

Over the last two weeks we have practically had a thunderstorm per night, flash floods and such. Hope everything works out well there Randy!

Nothing quite lie Mother Nature giving a lesson in awesomeness. We had the torrential downpour yesterday but without the fancy light show. I know I sound like a broken record but this is supposed to be our dry season.
