Amazon FINALLY refunded my service manual that I bought which never showed up (only took a month and a half) but I need some torque specs if someone can lend a hand! Got a new head going on the right side after seeing just how bad the crack in it was! I’ll drop the pic at the end of the post but need the specs on the following

Cylinder Head Bolts
Rocker Arm box

I ordered one that should be here by Friday from EBay so I’m good. Just needed those specs and couldn’t seem to find them anywhere so I sincerely appreciate it!

Gotta pull the belt on the left side, realign the timing marks and the T1 then get back after putting it all together again. I THOUGHT about just slapping the right head on and leaving it alone but the correct way would be to redo the timing again even if I really don’t want to [emoji1787][emoji1787]

What is a "rocker arm box"? if you mean the valve covers, tighten the four bolts until the bulge in the bolt bottoms against the head. Don't go any further because you can snap the bolts and have a perpetual leak. Yeah, I've seen that happen.

Rocker arm box might not be the technical term for it. It’s the cover which goes over the camshaft; either way I got it handled.

Oh my ..I’m thinking both belts will have to come off to do this job ..so it’s a complete retime ...so be very careful...doing the timing we don’t want bent valves ...man this has been a monster so far ..I like how you hang in there your tough repo

Are you going to do any work to the valves? Should at least make sure they don’t leak too much. What is an acceptable amount of leak and still get good compression? I always lap the valves, and never check for leakage so I don’t know.

Yup! Gonna redo it all just to be safe! That’s a given

This head has brand new valves, seats and seals in it. I had bought a set when I pulled the initial heads after the no compression issue. So those are now in this head lol
