took it out for a ride tonight. Boy what a difference in the power and the sound. This bike is running swell. My wife enjoyed the ride she says, really happy with the turnout. Super Super... Had a run last night she is doing so well. Thought I would have an issue with all the lights but no. It is charging up in the 13.7 @3grand under full load working well. Looking into gettin the seat recovered Clutch's a must...

could I change the front end on my bike 78 1000 with a 80 1100 if I swap it all in swoop ..?

I think that as long as your neck uses roller bearings and not ball bearings (which I believe the 78 does) you could take everything off and put a complete front end back on from the 80.
