pic of modified stock weber linkage main modifier ...hammer

image.php

pic of top all air obstruction removed into carb ...ive never seen anything needed on hooch but throttle lock....this motor is hooched out too .....

image.php

this pis shows the secondary mod as ive changed it some and works good with the linkage set up like hooch and jyd will have it is right behind the modified linkage piece and is rubber hose flaten on one side ...seems to be best spot to me ....one vacume port for stock ignition left ... all other vacume ports and other bs stuff pluged

image.php

this pic shows some epoxy plugs ......this carb is mostly race ready ...though its not as big as hooches carb ... and this set up will have 1" outlets at manifold ...it will open up to 1 1/4" green hose that will hold 300 lbs pressure and they will run strait into stock horns ....there is no bends in these runners ...the down side to this is carb is not centered like is on type4 ...because of this and smaller runners no more mods will be made to carb till i see how it runs and go from there ... im sure further mods will be made but you never know .... :builder: :thanks:

Joe, a suggestion on your chokeblade-less conversion. You may want to plug the leftover holes in the air horn where the shafts used to be. Air pulled thru those holes MAY disrupt airflow into the venturi of the carb. I've always done that(plugged the holes) on race/hot-rod carbs with the choke plates removed for that reason. Don't know if it would make enough of a difference on the Hooch-isized set-up or not, but might be worth looking into, considering the rpm range these engines will run.
Just an observation...
