It was raining.
Oh yeah, metal roof.

Joe, does that engine have any exhaust on it at all? If not, that might be one of the reasons you are having an idle issue. Just a thought. Sounds good, tho! Revs quite nicely! :clapping: :clapping:

well got a idle .. there were some carb issues and the couple leaks ....

might be having a heating issue ...i will check it ou tomorrow ....well you couldnt see but the up down of idle was mostly me playing with the screws

Believe Slabghost may have something there, doesnt crankcase hose go to air box on stock carb? reinduce to burn any thing left over from combustion,(SMOG) :cheeky:Our government at work looking after all of us STUPID voters :cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:

ran the dog again this morning at 32 degrees ... the darn fan is no kicking in ... and need to figure that out ... it ran well ... needs float adjustment to and some jetting changes also but it all going in a good direction ....

well dan in this kind of weather ..the doghouse building is like the inside of motor ... condensation happens on eveything as the temp goes from below freezing and above like daily ... when i go out after suns been up awhile condensation collects all over the inside of the metal building and drips like rain ... this type of conditions have been going on quite awhile now ...so i am sure there was moisture inside the motor ... as a precaution of head gasket failure i took valve covers off and retorque heads ....saw no sign of problem with oil in the heads ...when i ran it..... there was no sign of moisture coming out of vent ...there might have been if i allowed it to heat up like i did yesterday some .... so i dont think its a problem .... ...as the weather fronts fight it out big time here

Always run at least 1 or 2 fans to evaporate condensation on every thing when temps swing up then down, again.

He'd need some really big fans for that building. :good:

Direct breeze on stuff you want to keep dry, from 2 directions, contained in a specific area of a large bldg works. :good: Two fans keep 4-6 bikes dry in the shop area of my garage, about 10' in the rear of a 24' x 32' garage.Pretty close when any more than my 4 & parts; but always seems that my scooters have visitor's with some sort of problem or other.
