ok i set my valves,put in the new battery.tryed to bleed the rear brakes agian no go. started her up and took her on a short test ride anyway. 12 mile round trip.put her timing covers back on.and called it a good day.

Start a new thread on the brake bleeding and we can get you some good information that will help! I just pulled my rear caliper and replaced it with my rebuilt '82 caliper :music: ! No trouble bleeding.

Finally got the wife to go for a ride today oh2: It was only 50 miles but it felt so good I thought it was 100, Stopped at a local Dairy Isle in Linesville,Pa. and had dinner ( cheese steak hoagie with mushrooms, fries and a large rootbeer) man it don.t get much better than that :music: :music: :clapping: :clapping:

I used the 'Wing today as a parts runner. Did some work on Mama's Cad, so I rode the 'Wing around O'Riley's for 2 5+ quart jugs o erl, and a filter. Then went to my storage to get a throttle position sensor for it. I never get to ride on da weekends, so this was fun! :yahoo:

After I got done with the Cad, I cleaned the bike up. It was purdy derty from getting caught out in a storm last week, so I did some cleanin...

I put a new front tire on, a Bridgestone Spitfire. We will see how it holds up. Had a Kenda Continental on it, I think it only had about 6K and was worn out cupped really bad. I put Slime in the tire to get it to seal for inflation.

went an got her taged and asked if the wheel tax was less for bikes case being two less wheels but no go. 76 bucks extra 19. for my vm vet tags. still it's a rip off.

yesterday i rode the 1500 wing to work and back home. i put new front brakes on the 1200 wing then rounded off the head of the bleeder screw

I REASSEMBLED THE CARB RACK AFTER INSTALLING NEW O RINGS ON THE CROSSOVER TUBES. SET FLOAT LEVELS. REPLACED FLOAT BOWL SCREWS AND WILL MANUALY SYNC CARBE BEFORE INSTALLING. sorry if i am shouting it is getting clise to RIDE TIME :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

well yesterday i got the 75 running of slabghost and also started my 82 with 1200 motor tranplant...it was a very good day ...im going to be on them today too ...there both a ways from done

changed front brakes and bleeder screws then blead them onthe 1200 wing. then i went riding with a friend, she rides a nekked 1200 wing. we rode 115 miles this evening
