All completely subjective with no right or wrong answer really. I tend to stay with 20-50 or 30 wt motor oils on older machines. Antifreeze should be silicate free and oils should be wet clutch friendly. Aside from that it's personal preference.
I use Mobil 1 15W-50 in my 81' wing and it helps the shifting as well. I put about 50k on my other wing which was and 83' with no problems of clutch slippage what so ever.
