whats the best engine oil and coolant

what is the best engine oil.oil filter and coolant for a a hot Texas summer for a GL1200 goldwing engine..84 and 86 engine

All completely subjective with no right or wrong answer really. I tend to stay with 20-50 or 30 wt motor oils on older machines. Antifreeze should be silicate free and oils should be wet clutch friendly. Aside from that it's personal preference.

I use Mobil 1 15W-50 in my 81' wing and it helps the shifting as well. I put about 50k on my other wing which was and 83' with no problems of clutch slippage what so ever.

Well any good 10w-40 wt. should do the trick ,here in Tenn. i use rotella 15w40.
