I have been seeing 3 widths being sold, narrow, wide and extra wide. Any opinions, feedback on the wider ones, do they get in the way or are they actually more comfortable the wider they are?
Thanks.
Thanks.
It is one size fits all. The way it works is, there is a rubber sleeve you slide onto your grip and then you slide the cramp buster on. The cramp buster is not a solid circle like a pipe, it is actually a round lever if you will because it is more of a clamp. Wherever you set it, when you press down on the wide part, it squeezes the clamp together on the rubber sleeve and that is how it grips the throttle. Let go and it loosens its grip making it infinitely adjustable. Well I for one do not have one and have always relied on a throttle lock, and for my efforts, I took some good natured ribbing from Gerry for it while using it in the hills of Kentucky and West Virginia. The throttle lock would not keep up with the hills and I would start to slow down a bit before I got my hand onto the throttle to twist the wick to get up a hill.
I am reading everyone mention that they need to adjust the crampbuster to get the correct postion set... are the crampbusters one size fits all or are there specific sizes? To me, it looks like they just slip onto the grip, so I have to wonder how it locks into place to hold tight. I should have looked a little closer when I was around a bunch of bikes with them on.
Joel, are they Kuryakyn grips?[url=https://www.classicgoldwings.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=95759#p95759:1ya6tq4d said:AApple » Wed Sep 11, 2013 12:15 pm[/url]":1ya6tq4d]
Mine is part of the grip, too....and adjustable with a small allen wrench. I don't think I could live without it...
