Oh, I know. I’ve been married for 30 years, come August. I’ve been around the block a time or two with this girl.

Like any female, she gets a little cantankerous when she feels like she’s being neglected, especially for anything motorcycle related.

The good thing about her is; she gets over her mad real quick. I just have to duck and stay low until she’s all better, then apologize profusely and butter her up for a couple days. I commuted to work with her today, so we got to have some “us” time. That’ll help.

You gotta keep momma happy, or ain’t nobody happy!

I limit my puter time on weekdays to aboot an hour each evening, and a few minutes in the mornings before heading to werk. Sometimes, it's just not enough time to do all of the things I wanna do, but...as you said, and we all know, iffn Mama ain't happy, ain't NOBODY gonna be happy! :whistling:

My wife is very generous with my Puter time.
I've spent many many hours and days on it, sometimes straight thru the night as many of you know.

I can tell after 20 years together when I need to cool it and spend more time with her and around the house.
A night out just the 2 of us goes a long way.

Most of the time, it’s not a problem because, as I say, she’s usually watching a cooking show, or her soap opera.

When she wants to get butt-hurt, though….. I coulda just been picking my nose and that could trigger it. You never know.

Truthfully, SWMBO is generally pretty good about my obsessions. Motorcycling is kind of new territory for us because I went against her wishes. We had a bike when we lived in the Midwest, but when we moved to California! She said no way.

I'd been patient for 20 years and a friend of mine got a bike. Actually, it was the same friend that found my '83 for me that got me enthused. I took the MSF class, thinking that might win her over. Nope. She finally did give in, reluctantly, but I got my bike.

I hold onto a thin glimmer of hope that she'll get on the bike, but realistically, I doubt it.

So, one thing she will get butt hurt about is me hanging out with you guys when she wants to talk to me.
