Can someone here tell me what is standard Idle Rpms are for the gl1200 mine is running around a grand after choke but if i am not mistaken it idles to low when fan kicks on so i tried to adjust it up when fan comes on to around 11-1200 and seems to run smooth

went to start gl1200 restoration and wouldnt start troubleshoot it and find out when i plug in fuel pump it loads the carbs so bad that it actually floods out i unhook the pump and keep my finger on the start button it will eventally start but smell like it is flooded and blow white smoke anyone...
