1200 into a 82 standard,with a pic 34 single carb and chrome manifold

I'll be watching this one, i have an '82 that came with the 34-3, a weber 2 bbl, and a manifold center section that I will try to run in the spring.

Cleared coated and getting ready to go in the 1100,next some more checkin on things.

Got,the 1200 motor in the 1100frame,and 1200swingarm on..it,was a fight by myself and I enjoyed it.lol

Looks great with that gold paint on the motor.
Your actually doing what i had in mind, acquiring what was needed.
To convert an 1100 standard, into a 1200.
Had almost everything needed, except for a frame with a valid title to transfer
Had the motor, front end, swing arm, along with wheels, & 1200's brake set up.
Then i found a complete 84 standard, for $900, 100 miles or so away.
So rented a trailer, and friend with a van, towed it home for me.
Now i have a few extra parts.

Yes,I blew up the 1100 and got my Valkyrie 4 year's ago..had the single setup and a 85wing,so it was meant to happen.lol

Thanks,Joe nice to hear from you and now it's put up until winter,got a couple more bike's to work on,80 wing and a 86aspy,and a 250 nitehawk,for kids to learn on.if in my area,6184172330.

Going with a 2 barrel set up,port and polished heads with a 3 angle valve job,then after dailing it in.2 small bottles of nos.the bottles will be will the shocks,mount and 4 single exhaust 3.5 ft,then upswing and semi chrome caps on ends.custom gloss black paint job,with gold metal flake in the clearcoat..midnight special. Theme..
