Now for the high current test. Take two stator leads and put 12v positive to one and negative to the other you will get a spark do this briefly. You then test between the other stator lead between each of the other leads. Three tests in total. If you numbered the 3 leads this would be the testing procedure:
1-2
2-3
1-3
You can also test between the phases and the body of the stator ( ground)
These tests should be fine with your stator

All we're looking for is continuity between the leads.
