Wow, that looks bad  , it looks like the is oil mix in the coolant, what I don't get is, in some parts the coolant is green and flooting on tthe top in puddles. I'm shure someone will know what's going on.

The brown in actually on the green. There is about 1/2 gallon of coolant in that pot.

Maybe you should do a pressure test to make shure, it does look like oil in coolant.

That is my next step. The oil looked clean (no coolant). There is a chance that the brown stuff could be stop leak or something. It looks like someone had the radiator off at some point. Time will tell.

When my coolant looked like that, it was a head gasket leak. One gasket had a small area blown that was pumping oil from the cylinder into the water jacket, but there was never any coolant in the oil. :Awe:

Hmmm.... someone was in here not to long ago. The belts are new and there is some new hardware too.

I agree, I bought the bike at a dealer that dose have a good rep. so I am guessing they were going by what they were told. The last time it had tabs was on 02. There was no plate on the bike but I have a friend in the D.O.L.

I bought this using my heart and not my head... The 78-79 is my favorite Goldwing.
