I have a 76 goldwing with wiring problems the owner that gave me the bike cut the headlight wires how easy is it to fix the headlight

That's a lot of wires! I would look on ebay for a wiring harness.

Butchered for a fairing install. Only three wires to the headlight. Get a wiring diagram, pick up a socket at your local auto parts store (last one I bought was at NAPA) and hook it up. Other wires in the headlight bucket (light blue and oranve) are for turn signals. If you need them, the headlight mount and bezel are available aftermarket. I find connectors and tools at vintageconections.com. Their stuff will mimic stock parts to make it easier. The crimper is a bit spendy, but worth it.
