Us warmer climate riders need to pick it up. I'll do what I can around work and family.

Ok. In keeping with the title, I rode out with a group on Sunday, a 200 mile loop down to breakfast in Maricopa at the Headquarters Cafe. A mountain (no exaggeration) of bacon with your eggs. On over to Gila Bend and up Old Highway 80 to the Gillespie Bridge and Dam. Great run through hills and farm country.

The 1000 needed an oil change after the head gasket allowed a bit of water to mix and the CBX awaits finishing (carbs/swingarm), so I rode the Valkyrie. I kept some fast company - two ZRX's and a Ducati Streetfighter. The old Valk held her own.

I have a few pics, but the site doesn't currently seem to want to allow them to upload.

Last week I rode the '06 to Muddy Pond Tennessee and back - twice! Once on Tuesday with an '18 GoldWing and a Spyder, and again Friday with a different Spyder. About 150 miles RT each, and some great food at the destination plus great twisty roads both ways.
