A New Guys Rides

Within the last month I have purchased these two motorcycles. A 1981 GL 500 Silverwing and most recently the 1981 GL 1100 Goldwing. I have discovered that if you are willing to look around and be patient, these machines can be found and bought fairly cheap. I have $1000 in the Silverwing and only $750 in the Goldwing ! (The Goldwing also has saddle bags and a trunk, but I removed them for cleaning)
Both had been setting for a while and both needed a little attention, but the satisfaction is very rewarding.

It has plenty of "git up", but is does lack some power with me and my wife on it!! That was a good reason to use when buying the Goldwing :grin:
