A question for those that mount their own tires...

Do you take them to the tire store for balancing after you get the tires on the rims? When I bought this last set they took the old weights off the rim but didn't replace them...no weights. Do motorcycle tires even need to be balanced?

I've always had them spin balanced because I know how much better the car feels when done that way.

I use 2 0z. of ceramic beads through valve stem very slowly, works well for me.

I have switched to the dynabeads also. no weights no more cupping and no more vibration.
