Sounds like a great deal, :good: cut the shelter out if its fairing is in too bad shape to fix, strip away excess & if neck of frame is not hurt, pretty cheap scooter,. Would probably go myself if it was closer, as a stock front end is in the collection of spare parts acquired over the years, & that many parts for the money, glad its too far away :heat: :smilie_happy:

I'm ALWAYS LEARY when buying anything, :hihihi: BUYER BEWARE is an unfortunate way of life. :whistling:

Hey Brian, remember we passed like ships in the night @ NASSIR 7 last year.

I've got a standard 1000 points housing if you need it, was gonna use it for the C5 but I bought the one with it's own housing.

I think it's got screws and gaskets too.

PM me if it'll work.

Once I heard Brian wanted it, I sent the seller a text message saying I wouldn't be driving in tomorrow.

Brian: If you don't get it, let me know and why.

Thanks

Tom

As of now, I am going to pick it up on Saturday, so it looks like I will save you the trip...

1200 motor, 1100 heads, and 1000 cams, you're going to have one heck of a machine!

I will keep that in mind. I also want to check with Paul to see what it will take from him to convert my kit to the newer kit and mount it to the 1200 head. I am not 100% sure I am going to jump in with both feet and switch to 1100 heads and 77 cams.

84 has ignition in the same place as 1100.

Yup..., but I think for simplicity I may go the same route that Dan did.

Are you going to leave the drive train in the 1200 frame? :headscratch: Transplanting head light, turn signals, replacement forks, with shelter transplant, just might be easier in the long run. :whistling:

Okay man, it's here if you need it, but if you do go for 1000 cams, go for the '75 or '76's, in '77 they re-profiled them for less power.
