Guy said clean title in hand, that's why i asked, :headscratch: watch out a lot of people wind up dead or robbed on Craig's list. :read:

I have a bunch friends that go with me... Strumm & Ruger and Smith & Wesson.

PA has some strange notary requirements and I am not sure if it has been salvaged or not. The add mentions that, so ifar tat is the case, putting everything into the 1100 frame may be the easiest thing to do. I'm still checking...

The 1100 is already licensed and insured. I'd pop the motor and rear end into the 1100 frame.

There is that thought also.

Salvage is not exactly a clean title in hand, :nea: unless he had it totaled by ins, & got to keep it cheap, which makes it a parts bike, which sucks. :whistling:

I really mostly want it for the parts... especially the motor. That's good enough for me.
Any chance you would be selling any of those parts....say......a nice 1200 trunk? :ahem:

Brian, Just to let you know.

I've got a complete '82 1100 motor, frame + rear end, you can have it for $200. Clear Texas title, you ship!

50,000 miles, bike was in excellent condition when I got it.

It's up to you.

True enough, would be nicer with a transferable title to get plates, & avoid the heavy work, so to speak. :eek:k:Still $300 for a good drive train, along with swing arm back, with wheels, makes a great deal, most all parts pretty much plug & play. Fuel tank will need a little massage, & upper frame around air box trimmed a bit if my memory serves, with the last transplant i saw of a 1200 into an 81 wing.

Sorry to say but it appears that the top is broken in addition to what I told you in the pm. If you are still interested let e know.

Oh and Tom, you don't need to take a trip. The bike is on its way to my house.

So I guess this means you don't need my project starter kit. That's OK. I'm glad you got fixed up.

But it's out there fella's, $200 to any of you guys. Clear Texas title. 50,000 miles. You ship.

Thanks Brian, hoping for a whole trunk. Never know though, when you get a chance to post pics I might change my mind!

I still need a complete GL1200 so I don't have to re-assemble this basket case. :builder:

If anyone hears of one under $500 within 500 miles of Central Illinois, give me a shout, please. :beg:

Three bikes in the garage for one night... one night and the wife is already :sensored: about not having room for her car! :head bang:

One solution for that problem is to load it up and bring it west. Your money will be cheerfully refunded by me when the bike is setting in my garage.
