Now just a damn minute! I have worked long and hard to get the reputation of being a cheap bastard, so I take offense to that! If I am buying it, you know it isn't the top dollar stuff. :smilie_happy:

In fact, if it weren't for the C5 ignition, I think the most expensive thing I have ever bought for my bike has been the saddlebags/trunk.

Tim, after reading your post it made me want to check to make sure on some spare 1100 horns I have: fits fine. Now if only the temps would get above 23 degrees, I would go put them to use.
 
We'll have temps around 50 tomorrow Brian, I plan on checking vavles on my 77. I had the carbs off and tape over the intake ports, turned the engine over a noticed 3 of the ports the tape had vacum pressure on them but the 4rth was pulsing up and down, i belive i have a vavle adjusted wrong or sticking.
 
I have the same set as McGovern and have had good results. Since I picked up a MightyVac recently with a positive and negative pressure dial gauge, I'm planning on using it to calibrate the carb synch gauges. I've never done it this way but it makes sense, since the MightyVac gauge is likely more accurate than the made in China carb synch gauges.
