...I've been a little under the weather since Sunday morning, i got a rush job in on some carbs Saturday afternoon, so after getting set up sunday morning to do the job, the wife calls me in to eat breakfast, so i go in and eat. Then i go back to the shop and go to work on the carbs....and BAMMMMMMM.... :shock: i thought i was having a heart attack.... :shock: ..yeah....it was a real hum dinger...hurt like hell. The wife says...are you ok ...and i said..we have to go now.....so we loaded up and went to the hospital, lips getting numb, hand starting to tingle, hyper ventilating...crap...are we there yet... :head bang: .
After all the blood they got and testing (which almost killed me anyways)...some kinda of nuclear stress test....where they filled my veins up with some crap for the imaging scan,,,then your heart starts racing like your running on the tread mill.... :Awe: ....racing to the end of no where...I thought for sure that was it... :shock: and the nurse said...how do you feel....so how do you answer a question when you can't breath... :head bang: ...so after a few minutes, my heart settles down a little, and what do you think they give you for an antidote to reverse this action....Caffeine....which i can't do anymore....it causes me to have anxiety attacks.... :head bang: :head bang: ..what a freaking .. oh2: , so i just had to go thur the whole crap...until it wore off... :sensored: :sensored: . I spent that day and Monday..laying flat of my back, while they poked me for more blood, giving me shots in my stomach...some kind of blood thinner, reading my blood pressure every 15 minutes ..waiting for information on what is going on.....then the doctor comes in late Monday and gives me the news, I had a Pancreatitis attack (that crap hurts)and he says its from acid reflux that has caused an infection, since i have no gall bladder anymore... :rant: :rant: ..so i am now taking Prevacid,..

..and Oh..my heart he said was in great shape.... :headscratch: ....if you have one of these test....you better have a good heart... :smilie_happy: ..i know this is a little off topic....but that's the way life is sometimes...WAY OFF...Ya'll have a good day...i'm back.... :clapping: :clapping:

yes had a friend go through that ... thats is instant heart attack ... these doctors should be shot for doing that ... no telling how many have died right in that spot you are in ...cause of death heart failure ... should read cause of death retarded medical doctors and practice

Sorry to hear about going through all of that Paul! I get mixed feelings about saying I'm glad you are OK now when you may still have more to deal with, but, I am glad you're back!

Wow, Paul - glad you're still with us! Yeah, the chemical stress test is scary stuff! My pulse dropped to 30 and I nearly passed out, but it did tell them what they needed to know. Not fun! Glad your heart's good!! Wish I could say the same for mine... Take care and get well!!!

i got to do some work last week, i started feeling better, so i got to it. After rebuilding that other set of carbs that i started on last Sunday, i dug up Marks 83 carb bodies and built his set for his bike...then i set his valves, put on the water tubes, valve covers, timing covers, installed the coil pack with the resistors, installed the fuel pump, installed the mufflers and battery tray. He stopped by Sunday and visited for a few minutes and brought me the rest of the faring parts...and :thanks: for the fathers day greeting... :thank_you:

I know it looks good in the pics but it looks infinitely better in real life, Paul does excellent work. I'd trust him with all of my mechanical devices!

Got a little progress done today with the Leak Test on the carbs... :good:,, I got them installed along with the Reserve Tank.
