last Friday I headed out about7:45, after stopping for gas and at the bank it was about time to start making my way north. I made a quick stop in Dearborn, mi. for this before taking us-12 east. it was on the cool side at 48º and with the time of day it was I was in no hurry to get on the expressway. once in downtown Detroit I headed north on m-3 taking note of some murals along the way. this added time on to my trip but I was in no real hurry. up in mt. Clemens, mi I took north river rd. over to I-94 and headed east. I crossed the blue water bridge in port huron, mi. the border crossing went well but I've never had a problem going to or coming from Canada. I stopped at the currency exchange building so I could have some Canadian cash in my pocket and when I came out I was surrounded by about 15 Harleys, they were heading to a police memorial somewhere in Canada and I got an invite to ride along with them at the back of the pack. I declined because I knew that I didn't want to ride that slow or hear a bunch of loud Harley's for the next four hours, I let them leave about five minutes before I did
