Engine guards

Does any of the engine guards for the gl1000 fit a 1979 or are they year specific? Thanks.

Thanks. Any idea on 1979 horns being weak? Were that way from the factory? Thanks all.

As I recall, mine were fine. You might need to clean or tune them. Or even better, replace them with GL1800 take-offs.

On my 83 they can be dissassembled and cleaned. Worked great after
