Is it normal to have a hard time getting these bikes on/off the center stand? I can normally get mine on without too much drama, but getting it off is a different story.
 
My problems were always the reverse. Getting it up on the stand has been a battle on my 1100s. My 1200 hasn't been a problem either way.
 
My 1000 goes right up as long as I do it the right way, I do have to rock it a couple of times to get it down.

These centerstands don't really work all that well. My 1800 was easier to put off and on the CS than my 1100 or 1000 even though it was much heavier.

Be careful, get down on the floor and inspect the CS well, the one on my 1100 had that odd issue of harder to get off the CS than on. Turns out it was damaged like below:

Weld needs a little clean-up, and some paint, but it'll hold. :good:

Did you need to remove anything to weld?

Only the flammable objects in the vicinity.... :hihihi:
