The seat is a 2000 valkyrie from honda. $130.00 in the box brand new. Veeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyy Comfy!!! :good:

any trouble getting it ti fit?I have been thinkning of getting a second 1200 with saddle bags (no trunk) single seat and full fender.

Think I will buy a seat that should get me motivated enough to look for a bike this winter (my problem is whenever I get a suitable candidate someone needs parts from it and I hate to say no to money)

Do you any pics or details of how you were able to mount the Valk seat? It looks great!

1060dsl; Making the valk seat fit my wing just took some aluminum strap flat stock, some aluminum angle stock, a piece of a small plastic cutting board, misc. nuts and bolts and some creative hacking. All together the stock was around $20.00. It's by far the best modification I've made to the wing. :good:

The trunk lid and side covers are done :thank_you:

Thanx Dan. Too much orange would be more like a Hardley. The black breaks it up but is a constant color too. :good:

Semi nude now. The fairing's off to get to the headlight bucket, so, it's paint time while it's still warm.

It's on, it's orange and I like it! This color WILL LAST! :good: The shelter and rear fender are all that remains.

Living in Boston has taught me that I am invisible no matter what color the bike is, or how many lights you've got. Cage drivers are worse now then 35 years ago when I started riding, and it's not just all the electronic junk that's distracting them. They just plain don't pay any attention!!

These are gonna be the finishing touch for the shelter when it's done :music:

A better view of just how bright the orange really is. Sorry about the dirty window!

Rock Star Red hi-lites. Pearlized black trim. Reassemble and clear. Badges. That's all that's left! :smilie_happy:

The spare shelter is painted, along with the trunk lid and fairing, both refreshed the paint. All are cleared with at least 3 coats. Next up is wet sand with 1000 or finer, and more clear. Then, badges and ride, ride, ride! :Egyptian:
