Absolutely gorgeous! It looks almost like it would glow in the dark - it certainly does in the light!

I'll be lookin' for it in the aerial views of Boston tomorrow during the Patriots game!

Thanx for the compliments guys! Unfortunately, I don't expect the wing to be back home before march.
New England winters are too unpredictable. So for the time being, it'ssafe and sound in a freinds yard till then. Doing this stuff keeps me from losing what's left of my mind and that ain't much at all :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:

Here's the shelter in the sun. The flake in the paint really pop's! :lust:

The emblems are on and the wing will be home next week to start the new season! :music2:

Mostly back together! It's all one color now and I just need a new plate to remount the trunk. Overall, I'm happy with the results. New bags and badges! :Egyptian:

Thanx guys! I've had plenty of practice. This is the fifth paint job in as many years. Bound to get it right eventually! :smilie_happy:

I really like the red highlights on the orange....looks really kewl from the side. Nice job! :good: :Egyptian:

Thanx for the offer Steve. I just need to pick up another metal plate to put on the rack then mount the trunk to that. I've been using 16 guage steel but I'm trying to find the same in aluminum to lighten the load. I'm looking around at sign makers to get a blank to use. Home depot only has the 16 guage steel, no heavy aluminum. I'll have more time to look now. Igot my new tires and inspection today so riding season is officially open! :salute:

What kind of tires did you put on your Wing? I have a 12" x 18" aluminum sign that is just under 1/16 of an inch. If you can't find anything and can use it it's yours. Oh yeah, your bike looks great, Steve.

Well Steve, I was gonna try radials this year, but no one makes a front tire to fit an 83 so I went with the old faithful Dunlop 404's. they've always been good to me and I get 12 to 15 K out of them. Thanx for the offer of the sign but I'm looking for at least 1/8" thick for the aluminum. That's roughly equal to the 16 guage steel thickness I've been using. Oh! Thanx for the compliment! :thanks:
