I started with a full, moved to half, then 3/4 open faced and back to full. It's dangerous for bikers here in Vegas and I owe it to Janet to be as safe as I can. We got matching helmets that even have flashing LEDs in the back for early/late riding.

I like that idea about the LED. Might need to check into that. Sounds like a winner to me.
Check out GMAX helmets.

It'd be cool if you could have turn signals on your helmet as well.

when i was Younger and Dumber , I wore a full face on a sport bike all the time , till i had my first really hard crash , end over end in a curve into a field , slung my helmet off my head and it strapped tight under my chin . but the thing was , all the broke Ribs , Collar Bone , and all that stuff , no Helmet would have helped at all. . there are wrecks where a helmet would help some for sure , but not all . now I try to keep the Tires ON the Ground . . and i wear Open Face all the time behind my Goldwing Windshield . . cool , comfortable , and i don't even wear glasses to keep bugs out of my eyes . so far its working out . I Love the Freedom .
