It's all the fiddly details that take so long. I can't make a move without looking ahead 5 steps!

I think the tailgate is right, I've got marker lights to fill the holes. Now to put more glass cloth on the hatch cover.
Still have to figure out the spare tire mount underneath, and get lights installed.

Looking very expensive. Once you start using it. You may have more than a few ask if you'd build another for them. Yes those holes back there do resemble corvette tail lights.

It is soooooo... frustrating to spend a long time posting a sensible reply, with labeled photos, correct spelling, in some sort of order and just when you're about to submit, it all goes haywire and is lost! :sensored: :sensored: :sensored:

It's about done...here's some pics.

Inside are D-rings to hold stuff down,
The license plate had to be hinged to allow the tailgate to open,

Thank you, Now I can go camping tomorrow!

Looking back, those fender brackets nearly kicked my butt. Then I remembered seeing a video of Yoshimura bend exhaust pipe freehand with a vise, a torch, and a wire model to follow, so I fired up the oxy/acetylene and boy did the job get easier!

epoxy and marine varnish, needs more sanding and more varnish still, but not now...I'm going camping. Enough time spent waiting for stuff to dry!

The handle on the tail gate is slick. Did you make that?
