Head gaskets, $25 each off Ebay. A 2 minute video comparison to Honda OEM

These I ordered from Here.

I had asked the seller what brand these are, his reply was he has them made in Taiwan.
He "say's" he has sold hundreds of them without any problems.

Since Honda OEM head gaskets will run out eventually and I like choices where to buy (the price is nice too!) I decided to try them out.

This is a short video comparison of these gaskets against Honda's and the minor "adjustment" needed.

Would not play in IE, but played with no problem in Chrome.

Found the problem.

I imported the video then rendered it directly as an flv, I.E doesn't like something about doing that.
Instead I rendered the video as an mp4 then converted it to an flv.
It should play now in I.E

Thanks for the video Dan. I had a similar slight fitting problem in the gaskets I bought of ebay as well...they seem to work well though...

I bought a pair of these a couple of months ago , maybe I was lucky but everything lined up just fine. So far done nearly one and half thousand miles with no problems.

Perhaps an easier solution would be a half a gallon of red sillycone. :smilie_happy:

Are there others having this same problem, ya think? Seems like an easy enough "fix", but still, ya shouldn't have to modify a new part to fit.... :headscratch:

No idea. It took 15 minutes to get 14 seconds of the vid so I quit.
