Hello all!!

I'm new to this forum. Am currently working on my second restoration, this time its an 82 Aspy. Found it in a barn in North Carolina, and while the fundamentals are there, its in pretty sad shape. I've pulled it down to the frame, and am currently working on the carbs. Painted the frame over the last couple of weeks, mostly because I couldn't fathom putting the motor back into a grungy looking frame. I absolutely love these engines, so much so that I ride my Valkyrie as often as the weather allows down here in Georgia. My hope is to restore the Aspy, find a new home for her, and find another for next winter.

Excellent. Middle of summer here. Jeans jacket and t shirt weather for the next week and I am leaving for Phillip Island tomorrow - where the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix is held for those following Casey Stoner and the others.

Here you go. Took this today - seat got a bit hot to sit on - LOL.

Sorry it isn't a goldwing as I pick it up and ride it home on the 12th Jan.
