As some may have caught in a few posts. Joe is on his way to Florida on Hooch. He's made it to Georgia near macon so far with no bike trouble at all. Reports that Hooch is running like a brand new bike. He'll be catching up on a few things there before his trip continues. Nearest we can guess on his mileage so far is mid 30's mpg. With all the modifications he's made to this bike that seems pretty good to me. :clapping:

Thanks for the update, V! :good:

Joe called after he landed in Ga. He sounded very good from the long trip and bad weather. We plan on getting together at my place in Florida in a few days. Just glad I didn't need thr trailer. LOL

How is "he" holding up?

~O~
When we talked he was pretty tired but in good spirits. I think he plans to stay a bit and regain some stamina. He was fortunate to avoid all but a very short shower on the trip.
:thanks: for asking.

Isn't the whole point of doing all of this work to our bikes so that we can ride?!! Way to go Joe!!
I like to wrench more than ride. Yeah I'm weird.

That makes two of us, Dan.

I find joy and relaxation in trying different things and posting the results here.
It is satisfying for me to do this with the intent of helping others.

Seems like worthwhile goals to me.
Having known Joe quite a few years now I know this is how he thinks too.
