Installed the eBay spotlight on the left side hoping to gain some more distance. In all honesty I wouldn't advise using the spotlights over the floodlights, as I feel that the slight spread of the floodlight beam is better and the front view of the light looks more like one big light than 6 individuals.

Hardware is not of the same quality of my original worklights ( plain nuts instead of nylocks)

Lens gluing and quality also not as good as my original lights

Finally did a night run with the new lights so that you can see the beam pattern. When I first start the Rats Nest you can see the LEDs while the engine is cranking and then the 35w HID comes on. After overtaking you can see the high beam pattern is higher up and the blue light on the dash allows you to confirm that I am on high beam. The bit on the driveway really shows up the sideways spread of the LEDs.

Those look great!
They do an excellent job of lighting the cool spot right around the front of the wing.

Btw,we have a large number of people with that same name over here too. Must be a big family.

A run up the dreaded driveway on the Red CBR showing the difference with only one 35w HID ( there are 2 bulbs in the 91 housing) and one H4 on high beam in comparison to all that light on Rats Nest :good:

I have to be careful of deer in my part of the country, most of us keep our aux lighting out toward the ditches so we can find them easy before they jump out on the road. I have found that hitting the dimmer on and off makes them move better than a horn.
