Our little Lelah is getting up in years, she's 14 now. Still pretty active but we see she is slowing down. Never been sick a day in her life.
I raised her from too young to leave her mother, she wasn't much bigger than the palm of my hand. To get her to sleep at night, I had to have her carrier next to me by the couch where I had to sleep with my fingers touching her through the carrier bars.
It's pretty amazing the bond we have and how she knows me. All I have to do is grunt and she knows to stop if she's doing something wrong.
Sure will miss her when it's time.

Really like our Vet, he comes to your house, does it in their own yard, for many of his patients that have been with him for the time the pet's been alive. Never taken a dime from me for it, as i take care of burial in my yard. Grave was dug before he arrived, & he helped me lower her into the ground afterward, :heat: been our Vet for over 30 years. :good:
