Mama & I seen one of these yesterday, goin down the hiway...two riders with matching helmets, and a paper (license)tag floppin! Looked ok from a distance, but from the side it was a mess.... :nea:

I'm allergic to payments so I rarely bother looking at new bikes or cars. New stuff needs full coverage insurance and warrantees forbid most wrenching then you're always dreading that first scratch. I'm happy to let others deal with those issues.

I have not seen this bike in the flesh, but by going by the pics that I have seen, its freak'n ugly. The design of the saddlebags doesn't go with the trunk, the paint scheme is is eh....ok I guess and only a choice of four colors, whats up with that. No mechanical changes, and its still way over priced ,its no wonder these bikes are not selling well,go back and redesign the goldwing to look like a motorcycle, instead of a two wheeled accord......in my opinion less is more :head bang:

The base price on the K1600GT is $20,999 and the K1600GTL is $23,200 so it's right there with the Goldwing. I just read a review in Motor Cyclist and they really like it and gave it a good review.
