Well I picked up my Goldwing today and rode it up to Green Bay in 45 degree weather. Runs good. Some minor things here and there which I will discuss on here later this weekend.

But essentially, compared to my old bikes I can describe it the way Admiral Ramirez describes the USS Ares in Prelude to Axanar. "Bigger, Faster, More Agile, Drip Drop!"

(On a little aside, if you're a star trek fan, be sure to go to youtube and watch the 20 minute film Prelude to Axanar. It will be the greatest 20 minutes of Star Trek you have seen in a very long time.)

Nice bike.
Fairing does look like from an 1100.
Judging by the lack of an A or I on the steering head, and the fact the false tank has emblems, I think it's a 84 Standard with fairing and bags added.

The clicking is the fuel pump.

Welcome to the forum, as far as the LED light on the radio it would be rare for these to go out not impossible, you can check the solder joints on the display by removing the radio with the key and on the rear there are some screws 4 or 5 I forget then pull the cover exposing the circuit board.
more likely it is a function of the radio that has failed suck as a stereo light not coming on may be a weak tuning capacitor, these radio electronics are getting old and need service.
Good luck.

Just saw this topic, 1100 fairing on a 84 standard, the carb covers only came on standards to cover both carbs.

Brake rotors on interstate's were same as standards, solid. :read: UNLIKE Aspencade, & F I models.
