Hello everyone! I am Brad, I live in Las Vegas, NV, and I purchased my 82 GL1100A this week. Previously I recently completed a top to bottom building of a 1981 CB750 Custom. Once completed, and learned to ride, got licensed, and she just can not compete on the 70mph highways here. In addition I am going to need to re-build the engine. So I found a Goldwing at a decent price, and she was made for this!! I am in love and its only been two days. So I am very excited to be here to learn, and listen and see what this man bike can do. I am very interested in doing my own maintenance, since I learned so much with the build, and so I have some "anatomy lessons" to complete on the Goldwing. So that is why I am here. Thanks!!!

welcome to classic ......an 82 1100 will do well on the hiway ...your bike may need to be brought up to par but once there ...they're fantastic road bikes

Not very often you hear of a guy thata can do a complete rebuild and not be a rider at the time. Hats of to ya Brad!

What part of town are you in. I'm near 215 and Windmill. Currently doing a set of Carbs and other stuff like timing belts on my GL1100 but will have it up an running in a week or so. Need any help or advise just yell out............
