Trying to get some parts together.. Mainly carb stuff... But not full rebuild stuff. Bowl Orings and Orings in general, air cut off valves, accelerator pump.. Plus just a few other bits and bobs... Had one friend in states tell me a lot of guys not real keen on em.
They had things like the split pins required for carb linkages which I haven't really seen anywhere else... Indicator relay with rubber mount (I need the mount) and starter solenoid again with the mounting rubber which I need.
I would dearly love to have all my parts oem Honda... But that's gonna cost me over a grand whether I have it shipped from America or bought here on Australia... Screwed either way with Honda.
I know... you generally get what you pay for...so are sabre cycles online any good? Or not...

Most of thete bad reputation came from randakks and competing supplier with a mouth of discount to anyone that didn't agree with him ..as far as parts go I'm sure they don't make them ..ive seen bad and also very good parts from them ...

I thought I bought something from them, but danged if I recall what. Apparently, it worked. :)

But I also looked at the reproduction timing belt covers they had, and they apparently are thinner than stock, so I skipped that.

Things I'm looking at like Orings etc. I'd buy Honda for them but bugger me... Oring set per carb is like $80aus per carb. Then accelerator pump diaphragm kit is $130. Shut off valve sets are $120 each... I can't really justify it.
But other things like cables... More of a convenience. Getting all from one place... But if they're crap I shan't bother

Carb parts I think better to stay with OEM as much as possible. I don't think any of the aftermarket carb parts are all that great.

As for Saber Cycle, mostly they don't like taking returns, so if unsure the parts you want or not sure they'll meet your needs then not so good buying from them.

I'm only chasing rubber parts for carbs... Bowl Orings etc... But Honda want $80 per carb... And its not much better if I buy from you lot in America either... That's 320 just little rubber bits.... Nearly more than my bikes worth.
But then they had the indicator relay and starter motor solenoids cheap... It's not those bits I'm after it's the rubber holders... If the rest work it's a bonus.

I guess $85 all 4 carbs is worth taking a chance on https://www.saber-cycle.com/store/product822.html

I feel his pain when I order from the US. Have to be frugal and weigh the pros and cons. Contacted a local dealer for some prices. The carb vacuum pistons from Honda were initially over $200.00 CDN, the dealer dropped the price to $170.00 CDN. Mentioned he might be able to do better. Will be discussing this when I drop in for other items.

I can report that the 4into1 carb kit is holding up after a year. The accelerator pump can be considered holding up after two years, since I used the same part on another motorcycle.

That's my thoughts... If they work fine... Great. If not... I've only spent $85...not 320

I'll be interested to hear your opinion on the grade and the finish of the brass used in those SC parts. I'm seen some stuff laughable how bad it is.
I won't be using any of the brass. Going by Mike Nixon's info on carb building, most of the hardware in carbs should never need replacing. So I'm just looking at the "consumables"... Orings gaskets etc.

I've looked into 4 into 1vs site as well. Carb kits made by same producer... Barracuda. I've heard that their gasket sets are crap...

All I can say is that they are holding up for me in two motorcycles. YMMV.
