Well, have had a lot.
Here's one to start it off with that I used for some fast-n-light weekend camping last summer; a worked Yamaha Seca 750:

My first Wing was a '75 1000. I did a full to-the-frame restoration and rebuild. Took about a year, back in '93.

My second was an '80 1100 Interstate that had been modified. I rebuilt the top end after the PO broke a timing belt and bent 4 valves. Amazingly, no piston damage! Had this one in 2011.

I ran around on this little KZ440LTD a couple of years ago for a few months. Used it as a parts-chaser.
Paid $200 for it and brought all the maintenance up to date after it sat for about 6 years. Had to rebuild the starter.
Paid $100 for the SECA above. Had to bring its maintenance up too. Don't know how long it sat though..

I have had quite a few since my hobby is to buy other peoples junk and make them run again. I usually ride them a while first.
Here is a couple.

I still have this one and is one of my favorites. It may stay for a while.

oldwing thats some nice work on the side car work ...like the chopper too

Thanks Bro tha 64 I kept longer than any other bike, had 40+years it only had 7000 miles when I sold a couple years back . I just kept to look at  Tha feller with 900 is my youngest boy 20 years ago. That was one I wish I kept for my old age :Awe:

First motor vehicle I owned when I was 16. Rode it around an old field to learn how to ride. I paid $250 for it.
Ducati 450 Scrambler. Great bike I wish I still had.

Old Norton 500 single I bought in boxes and put together. And rode it for awhile. I remember it had "Roadholder" forks which had a real mystique for me.

'69 Kawasaki H1 which was an obnoxious death machine. I got rid of it.

'82 CB900 Custom in Wineberry Red. Beautiful bike that would rival my GW.

Took about 20 years off from bikes.

Then I bought a bunch of '49 Royal Enfield J2 parts in boxes. Got right into it: took 2 years and completely restored. Surprisingly smooth and pleasant to ride.
Bought a '71 BSA 650 in boxes. Spent a winter putting together and rode a bit the following summer. Vibrated way more than the RE, slow, terrible brakes.
Then I got into GS Suzukis starting with a '77 GS750.
Then a '79 GS850
Got fed up with wrench on old bikes and bought a brand new '09 Kawasaki Versys. Wonderful bike. I rode it out to the west coast and back. But it was like an appliance: nothing to do but put gas in and ride so no entertainment over winter. So I sold it so we could Reno the bathroom.
Which brings me to my current '82 GL1100. Perfect bike for me: rides great in summer and no end of projects in winter.

NICE , I love the Pictures........ I got some ofg old rides....but this is a new computer..... and no pictures on it yet.

My first bike, 1949 BMW R24 Was at Chambley AB France . 1957 The second one is my present rig 1982 GL1100 with a Watsonian Monaco sc. Doug
