To all of my brothers and sisters that are serving, or have served. To all of those left to keep the home on their own. Most of all to those who lost someone who gave it all - Thank You for our Freedoms!

Too many things are taken for granted these days, but our freedom is one thing that should not be. We enjoy it because others chose to stand a watch somewhere. Thanks to those that did. If you are still doing it, we'll then thank you for doing that thing you do.

My great-granddaughter invited me to her school's Veteran Day Observance. We vets were seated in the middle of the gym floor and everyone thanked us for our service. Quite a change from the reception we got when we came back from Thailand in 1970. The world is a better place today!!
