I had one of those!!! :clapping:

Hey I don't want to toot HD horn but I rode one of those & it is the coolest thing to ride. It's like a sport bike for ergos, other than gear whine it's dead quiet, it accels like a scalded rabbit & brakes really hard. B4 ride they warned no wheelies & no brakeies, I think it could do it. BIG problem can't go very far on them yet & these aren't for sale, just test platforms. I wish some one would get the technology right & affordable, ie ride as long as you want, fast as you want, "fill up" like gas, it's not there yet by anyone. Maybe b4 I die

Cool bike - I like it! But I wonder...how will they make it loud? Playing cards in the spokes?!?!
Obvious how to make loud...500 watt boom box playing pipe sounds

:smilie_happy: I can see it now , a Harley man ... Tatoo's everywhere , Leather Pants , Vest , Coat , Gloves , when its about 90 degs. . . with his Electric Harley with Cards in the Spokes , and every 50 miles he has to park and charge it for 3 hours .... just to get back home......... :smilie_happy:

wow, a two wheeled golf cart.......electric toys are fine for little kids and the tree humper crowd, but the reason most of us ride is the experience you get from an internal combustion engine whether it be a loud roar or a muffled purr , and shifting gears. This is going to be big with the city crowd that thinks a 30 miles is a road trip, and that's fine. I cant wait to wave at one as I pass him while he sits dead on the side of the road with an extension cord in his hand looking for a charge.

Don't they have to stop every 50 miles anyway - to pick up the parts that fell off?!?!

Personally I like idea of a silent powerhouse bike. I just wish I had the capitol to build my own along with the know how. A mass produced version will be powered way back to keep new owners alive.

I guess each one will come with a hundred mile extension cord.
Nope, they come with batteries.
