Weird newbie-ish question

Some of the most embarrassing lay downs are when your completely stopped...

Around here, if the she goes down on her side when stopped it is only because she wants to take a nap!! :yes: :hihihi: :ahem:

I've put mine down on the side twice, both times I was stopped.
I found out that hard way that decent boots really are better than tennis shoes for riding, (and gripping the ground better on gravel)

Yea she slid and bottoomed out on me ....words of advise if it starts to go just let her fall DO NOT TRY TO SAVE IT!!!! A goldwing will break you if your not careful.

Stopped in the parking space. Kicked the side stand down (I thought). Turned off the switch and let the bike tilt left onto side-stand. It kept going down until the crash bars were resting on the ground. Picked it back up and carefully set the side-stand. Nothing hurt but my pride.

They hold the motorcycle tests at my local dealer and it is quite a hoot to go there and watch them. Several guys have dropped their pretty, big bikes. Sad to see a guy take his text on a full-dress Harley and dump it. Get your Gold Wing but find a little bike to take the test.
