Someone traded the Valkyrie and a Harley at a local car lot. I was looking for a truck they didn't have and spied this. Been wanting one for a long time so I inquired about it. Needs tires and brake pads and some atf in the fuel. I dickered with him for three days to get a price I can live with but he agreed this morning so the deal is now done. All mine with no payments.

Now to get new tires and brake pads and a plate on it. I rode it home with the dealer plate.

Nice they let you borrow the plate, what kind of miles are on it?

Only 58k on the odometer. Might as well be brand new.

I bought one back in 97 and still get a kick out of riding it. You'll be happy with it. I haven't had to do much to mine other than tires and oil changes. Use stabil in the winter cause 6 carbs are a pain in the azzz to go through. They just get plugged up if you don't use the stabil . And bend way over for tires. I think they had a gold lining in them or something. Feels like a rocket after the GL1100 I have. Big and stable on the highways and no slouch if you feel like shoving through the twists too.

The only time it is happier is when he is drunk around a campfire.

Nice ride V! All the bennifits of a 1500 drive train but the ease of an 1100.
